"Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed." 1 Peter 1:13 NIV
Peter taught us that by keeping our eyes on Jesus, being absolutely certain of our salvation, our position and our identity in him, we really can get through any kind of suffering. Suffering is a part of God's ultimate plan of salvation for us. Alvin Beeman was a man who believed in God's plan of salvation for him and he taught each of us how to suffer and die with dignity, respect and remain faithful to the love of Christ. Well done, thy good and faithful servant. Welcome home!
