Sadly, on March 28, 2012, Debbie died peacefully in her sleep after a courageous battle with inflammatory breast cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband, Arthur Edward Laudenslager III and her sweet and beautiful golden retriever, Cassie Isabelle.
Debbie's lifelong dedication to children was demonstrated by teaching students with special needs for thirty years, most recently retiring from Arlington Public Schools. Debbie will be remembered for her energy and contagious joy of life by all whose lives she touched.
Friends are invited to join family for visitation starting at 12 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4 at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, Virginia 22032 (703-425-9702 or ).
