Rebecca was and is such an inspiration to me. I was blessed to have crossed paths with her in this common journey. Her fortitude and fight and quest for solutions and truth will always be something I can turn to when I am at my weakest. Blessings to her family, Jon, Eli and Ethan...may you hold her close in your hearts and be lifted by fond memories of her and her amazing spirit. G_d Bless her soul.

I am so sorry to hear of Rebecca's passing. I know the fight she put up and her legacy will live on as we explain to others that there is no such thing as a good cancer.
May the Lord give the family the strength to continue on.

I had one interaction with Rebecca at the Univ. of Maryland. I was very new to the graduate program and felt completely overwhelmed, out of my league and doomed to failure. She told me, "relax, everyone feels that during their first couple of semesters, if you didn't there'd be something wrong with you." You were sweet!

Jon, My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I was so saddened to hear of Rebecca's passing. She fought long and hard and she was such an advocate for our work here at Hopkins. She was a joy to work beside for so long during her treatment. Always full of positivity and inspiration along the way. Your loss is felt full circle here at Hopkins. Please know we are thinking of you and sending prayers your way.

Rebecca was a senior graduate student when I entered the Phd History program at UMCP- I looked to her as an example of what I wanted to achieve one day. My greatest condolences to the family.

I was so sorry to learn of Becky's passing. My memories of her are as a young, giggling little girl in the halls of Sabinal Elementary! My sympathies to her family and friends.

My prayers go out to the Lord family and to Rebecca's husband and children. I last saw her in High School, but knew she would touch lives and truly make a difference in this world. Prayers of peace....
