GLADYS LANSDOWNE (Age 83)
Of Reston, VA on August 22, 2012 at Reston Hospital. Loving mother of Doris Lansdowne of Annandale, VA, Donna Lansdowne-Newby of New York, Darlene Lansdowne, Daryl Lansdowne of Reston, VA and Joyce Tracy of Sterling, VA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 29 from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at the Oak Grove Baptist Church, 22870 Dominion Lane, Sterling, VA 20166. Interment immediately following in the Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Arrangements by LYLES FUNERAL SERVICE, Eric S. Lyles, Director, 1-800-388-1913.

In loving memory of a wonderful person! My heart is heavy with the passing of Ms. Gladys or as she would say my other Mother. I will miss you dearly we had some great conversations that I will treasure forever. I will always remember how you would welcome me with open arms and treated me as if I was one of your own. Words cannot express how you made me feel when you would always say that's my girl. But I know God doesn't make any mistakes and now he has another angel in his arms. You will be gone but never forgotten. I love you always Ms. Gladys!
