It was a privilege to conduct my uncle's funeral. It was mind-boggling to see all the people who came to the chapel and cemetary to pay their respects. My love and condolences to my Aunt Ellen, my father, and my cousins, and to all those who loved and miss my uncle.
God bless you!

I am sorry to learn of Al's passing... I have many fond memories of calling on him at the Wine Shoppe. Like my dear late father, he could bark to get your attention, but you quickly learned it was just an act and didn't really hide the fact that he was a great big teddy bear! My prayers are with you and your family during these difficult days...

Words are hard to find when few are needed to describe so much. Al, always a smile, a funny cartoon, a friendly ride, a joke or 2, but most of all, an endless love for my Saul and 3 others. Grandpa Al, we will miss you.....your carrots in the snow, your Yiddish mahnishtana......we will miss all of you .........G-d is a lucky guy to have you so close forever. Rest in peace. Corinne, Saul, Mark, Sarah and Dassie.

I am so sorry to hear that my neighbor Al passed away. My 11 yo daughter Catherine, who met him when I returned a projector he & Ellen had lent for Kemp Mill ES's 50th anniversary celebration, thought he was awesome. Our sincere condolences to the family, particularly his wife Ellen and his daughter Julie, who graduated from Northwood HS the year after I did. (I won't say how long ago that was...)
