Of Roxboro, NC died peacefully Monday, November 26, 2012 in his home after losing a battle with Leukemia. He was a retired employee of International Paper where he worked as a salesman for 30 years. He was also a retired Divemaster for Photo Tours Divers in Bonaire and an avid baseball fan who was proud to watch the Nats make it to the playoffs. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Armacost; his son, Mark Armacost and daughter-in-law, Heather Armacost of Huntingtown, MD, his sons, Tony Armacost and Matthew Armacost, his stepson, Toby Hosterman of Boynton Beach, FL and stepdaughter, Eleanor Valentijn of Essex, MD. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; a brother, James Armacost of Alexandria, VA and a brother, John Armacost of Chester, MD. Visitation will be held at Brooks and White Funeral Home in Roxboro, NC on Thursday, November 29 with a Funeral Mass on Friday, November 30 at 11 a.m. The family asks that instead of flowers donations be made in his name to The Christian Help Center, 122 Depot Street, Roxboro NC 27573 where he was a regular volunteer.
