ANTOINE PEROT, JR.
On November 9, 2012, ANTOINE PEROT, JR., beloved husband of Ruth Turner Perot; and cherished brother, uncle, cousin, colleague and friend, made his peaceful transition. Born in Lafayette, LA, he served in the Korean War and played a key role in the 1960's as a leader and strategist for the Congress of Racial Equality nationally, and in Cleveland, OH and Baltimore, MD. In recent years he was involved in international marketing and trading activities in Africa, India and the Caribbean. A memorial service will be held December 14 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of J.B. JENKINS FUNERAL HOME, 7474 Landover Rd., Landover, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Summit Health Institute for Research and Education, Inc, 1629 K. St., NW, Suite 300, Washington, DC 20006.
