Patricia Ann Ferguson, 76 of Washington, DC, was called home to our Lord on December 6, 2012. She passed away peacefully at Loving Arms Assisted Living in Front Royal, VA. Pat was the daughter of Walter and Catherine Templeton, both deceased. Survivors include her brother George and sister-in-law Joanne Templeton; son Walter and daughter-in-law Rose Ferguson; daughter Patricia Wyman and grandchildren, Kevin Ferguson, Leila Ferguson, Shannon Wyman, numerous nieces, nephews and devoted friends Maria Ryan and Joan Siegel.
Pat was raised in Philadelphia PA and for last 55 years, lived in Washington, DC. She graduated from West Catholic High School in Philadelphia, PA in 1955 and attended the Corcoran School of Art in DC.
A devoted Catholic and dedicated member of St Dominic's Catholic Church in DC., Pat was a member of the Third Order of the Dominicans, and the Third Order of the Franciscans. She attended mass daily, served as a Eucharistic Minister, and spent numerous hours volunteering for Little Sisters of the Poor Home. Pat was a generous and beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She believed devoutly in God, loved her family and country and will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral mass December 15 at 11 a.m., Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 501 East Chestnut Street, Delmar, MD. Interment will follow at Saint Stephen's Cemetery and Park, State Street, Delmar, DE.
