DURAND FORD Obituary
DURAND FORD, SR.
On January 1, 2013. Born January 14 1941 in Washington, DC and was a life long resident of the District. He graduated from Eastern Sr. High School. He completed his Bachelor's degree at Federal City College, now the University of the District of Columbia. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as an Air Policeman with the Strategic Air Command. An honorary member of the Tuskegee Airmen. He served as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (ANC-7F) in Ward 7. He was a devoted teacher, brother, father, grandfather, Mason, public servant and friend. Memorial service will be held Monday, January 14, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at J.B. JENKINS FUNERAL HOME, 7474 Landover Rd., Landover, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Durand A. Ford, Sr. Scholarship Fund.
