On Sunday, August 4, 2013 of Montgomery Village, Maryland. Beloved husband of Jennifer A. Marshall; loving father of Julia S. Marshall, Francis Joseph Marshall, V; grandfather of Grace Shea and Owen Joseph; brother of Debbie Vaccaro-Melvin, Julie Coakley (Terry), Pat Catalano (John), Brian Marshall (Mary), Mary Ellen Childers (Gordon), Claire Twigg, Betsy Marshall, Bobby Marshall, David Marshall (Nora) also survived by 25 nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews.
Frank started his career as a title analysis with Standard Federal Savings Bank and quickly moved up to a management position eventually leaving and continuing a successful career in the mortgage banking industry for over a 20 year period. Frank has previously worked at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage/Premier Asset Services in a management position GMAC Mortgage as Director of New Business Development, for Clayton National, Inc. as Vice President and REO Operations Manager of REO Management, Director of Loss Mitigation for Prudential Asset Recovery, and REO Operations Manager for Freddie Mac. He co-founded Default Resource/Mark to Market in Frederick, a successful company that offered automated QC focused evaluations and inspections, business process improvement support, emerging markets and outreach assistance, fraud detection, as well as other products and consulting services for the mortgage sector on a national basis. In 2010 Default Resource was awarded the Entrepreneur Council of Frederick County's Company of the Year award.
Friends will be received at PUMPHREY COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Montgomery Ave., (Rt. 28, exit 6A just off I-270) on Sunday, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 9000 Warfield Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20822 on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
