VICTORIA STETSON THOMPSON
On Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 1:40 p.m., beloved daughter Victoria Stetson Thompson departed this world from Arlington, VA. She was born in Texas 20 years ago; spent most of her life in Tucson, AZ; attended BASIS Academy there, and moved to Virginia eight years ago. She was an artist, a writer, and a guitarist. She is missed and survived by: her mother, Tamara Benson; step-dad, Ron Benson; grandparents, Eric Benke and Frances Merritt Thompson, and many other loving family members and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Parish Hall, 2609 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA. In lieu of flowers, a contribution on her behalf can be made to the non-profit anti-depression group, To Write Love on Her Arms, twloha.com or Doorways for Women and Families, doorwaysva.org.
