Marilyn and I worked together for several years. She was warm and nurturing, but also open to learning new things. She could be fiery, but also composed. I learned a lot from Marilyn while we worked together, and will continue to remember her fondly.

As others have noted, Marilyn was a wonderful person to have discussions with, on a wide variety of topics. One of the most intelligent people I ever knew. I learned so much from her! After she moved away from Ithaca, we exchanged long letters to supplement our phone calls because long distance was too expensive way back then.

Marilyn was a wonderful speaker - witty and insightful - and she always added a bit of dry humor to her talks. I will miss her...
Sending love to her family,

My friend, an intellectual giant, I will miss you and our stimulating, sometimes irreverent, conversations.

I loved Marilyn She was a special lady We'd have meetings and would often discuss spiritual experiences we both had. She told me my daughter and my neice were pregnant at the same time and both would have boys She was right on. I'm so sorry for her loss She will be missed We did talk a couple of times after her stroke She wanted so badly to be able to come to the unity church here in Leesburg Unfortunatly there wasn't a way to get her up the steps. She was a great person God bless her family
