Chairman of Tetracore

On November 21, 2013 Beverly L. Mangold died suddenly at her home in North Potomac, MD. She was born in Newark, NJ and graduated from Douglass College, a division of Rutgers University. She then went on to earn her masters and doctorate degrees from Brown University. For many years she worked for the Naval Medical Research Center in Bethesda, MD and then in the late 1990's, with three others, formed Tetracore, Inc. - a biotechnology company that develops diagnostic products for the detection of infectious diseases and bio-terrorism threat agents. Dr. Mangold was Chairman and Senior Scientist.
Beverly is survived by her brother Glenn of Basking Ridge, NJ, her nieces Kim Kennedy and Jill Galvin, her nephews Scott Mangold and Russell Mangold, and her beloved dogs, BJ and Abby. She will be missed and remembered by her friends and co-workers at Tetracore. A private memorial is being planned.
