IRA SIEGLER Obituary
IRA STANLEY SIEGLER
On November 28, 2013, of Chevy Chase, Maryland, at the age of 85. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Eugenia "Gerry" Schwartz Siegler; his devoted children, John Carey Siegler (Alexandra Read), of Seattle, Washington; Eugenia "Genie" Siegler Hochman (David), of New York, New York; and Douglas Lee Siegler (Charlotte), of Bethesda, Maryland; and grandchildren Samantha Larissa Read Siegler, Zachary Charles David Siegler, Daniel Bell Hochman, Joel Lansburgh Hochman, Rachel Marion Siegler, and Nathaniel Lansburgh Siegler; and his sister, Claire Siegler Brook (David) of San Diego, California. Interment will be private; a memorial service will be held in January. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Children's Inn at NIH (7 West Drive, Bethesda, Maryland 20814 or www.childrensinn.org) or The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation (1427 Clarkview Road, Suite 100, Baltimore, Maryland 21209 or www.ripkenfoundation.org).

I am so sorry to hear Ira has gone. I cannot tell you how much I admired liked and respected him. I hope to be able to come to the funeral to give my respects in January.
