Passed on Monday morning, March 10, 2014 at his home in Fairfax, Va after a short illness.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Barbara Murray Nolting; two sons, Robert Nolting and Gary Nolting; as well as two grandchildren, Baley Nolting and Nicole Anna Nolting.
Bob was a native of Arlington, VA; a graduate of Washington Lee High School (1953). In 1964, he was the co-founder of Red Top Cab Company of Arlington, VA. He was a Mason initiated in 1962 at the Columbia Lodge. Bob worshiped at the Clarendon Methodist Church in Arlington, VA.
Visitation will be at the Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd. Arlington, VA 22203 on Wednesday, March 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services to be the following day at 11 a.m. at Murphy Funeral Home with interment at National Memorial Park.
