When I called Liz in early 2014, she assured me she would find a way to be with us for or 50th Hollins Reunion. Although the weekend proved to be difficult for her physically, her spirit was resolute! With loving help from classmates and Hollins staff, Liz enjoyed our last time together. She was loved and appreciated and will be remembered by all her classmates.

This sad news just arrived from the Alumnae Office at Hollins where Liz and I were proud members of the Class of 1964. How glad and grateful I am that Liz was able to come to our 50th Reunion in May: a testament to her spirit, determination, and commitment to our alma mater. May joyful blessings accompany her on this next journey. With affection and respect, Sarah Holland

Liz & I were at Hollins College together, both studying physics, and kept up over the years. I last saw her in May 2014 at our 50th Reunion where her great intelligence was still apparent. I'll miss our yearly Christmas cards/letters.
