Martin was a cherished volunteer at Legal Counsel for the Elderly, who lent his tremendous intellect and tenacity to help our clients even the playing field of justice. Words cannot pay enough homage to such a generous spirit. Sincere condolences to the Kohn family, and a special thanks to Martin's wife for sharing him with our clients and staff.

Marty was an incredibly warm, intelligent man with a deep interest in politics, economics, and his beloved SF and NY Giants. He was a marvelous story teller who could enliven any tale with wit and humor. I deeply enjoyed our conversations about politics, economics, literature, and sundry other topics.

Uncle Marty gave so much to other people; he was a wonderful presence. He shaped a beautiful family, and he somehow always seemed to have a youthful spark inside.
