Sharing in your sadness as you miss Roland. There never was anyone quite like him and never will be again. He was a true original and will be sorely missed.

Diann James, Project Director and Project Staff, Prince George's County, Dept. of Family Services/SCSEP

October 27, 2014

We were greatly saddened by the news of Mr. Roland Carey, Sr.'s passing. He was our colleague here at Prince George's County/Department of Family Service/SCSEP for more than a year. He was a participant and served as a Case Manager and Job Developer for the Senior Community Service Employment Program, assisting other participants in finding their way back to unsubsidized employment opportunities after age 55. He was very insightful, congenial, clever, and lighthearted. He will be sorely missed. To his significant other, brother, son, and grandson – treasure the time you had together, and recapture those wonderful memories he left behind for your comfort. I know we will. God's peace be with you.
