Losing someone we love is never easy to accept, and sometimes the pain is almost too much to bear. But I believe your love will outlast the pain of the grief you're feeling… I believe you have a place deep in your heart where treasured memories will always live. And one day those memories will be a tremendous comfort to you. Death is the inevitable destination for us all. There may be some small degree of consolation in the thought that death is but a narrow starlit strip between the companionship of yesterday and the happy reunion of tomorrow's forever.
Martha's life and legacy will live on for generations to come because she fulfilled God's mission for her life by staying the course based on God's word in:
Hebrews 13: 3 "Remember those in prison as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bones."
Ephesians 5: 10,11 "Carefully determine what pleases the Lord. Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them to the light."
Mathew 24:44,45 "Then they will reply Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?"
"And He will answer, I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you are refusing to help me."
May God be with you in this time of grief and give you comfort and peace.
