Kenneth L.B. Dauer (Age 31)
Passed into the kingdom of our Lord on June 21, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Nicole Ledesma-Dauer; his parents, Sam and Vicki Dauer; brother, Chris (Jolie) Guillebeau; sister, Erica; brother-in-law, Max (Danyelle) Ledesma; in-laws, Dimas and Vicki Ledesma; two nieces and many friends. Funeral services Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Nativity Catholic Church, 6001 13th St. NW, Washington, DC. Viewing at 9 a.m., Rosary at 10:30 a.m., Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Quantico National Cemetery at 2 p.m. Service entrusted to BK Henry Funeral Chapel.

I am just hearing about Ken's passing. I am one of Ken and Nicole's neighbors. I only knew Ken for a brief time, but he was one of the kindest, most loving people in the world. He had a beautiful spirit and I am heartbroken by his loss. Nicole, please know that your neighbors are here for you if you need anything. We are deeply sorry for your loss, and we pray that God will comfort you in this very difficult time.

To my baby girl Nicole,
I pray God will bring peace to your grieving Heart & Soul. I'm so thankful that God Blessed us with Ken as a loving Son-In-Law. In 12 years I don't recall a time when He was not smiling & full of good humor. He called me Mom from day 1. He made me laugh so much & so hard. He was crazy in love with you & you with him! On Christmas Day 2014, I was overcome with Joy, & said to Everyone,"Today, is the Happiest Day of My Life having all my Babies Home Together !"
I can't begin to comprehend the depths of your grief. My darling daughter, I pray you find peace,solace & comfort by turning to God the Father, Jesus the Son & The Holy Spirit in prayer for your every need. I pray our Blessed Mother Mary, Queen of Sorrows will ask her Son Jesus to take this cup from you, comfort you & pour out his grace upon you & send mighty Angels to protect & guide you from all harm & evil. My prayers go out for his parents, siblings, their spouses, his nieces, all his coworkers, fellow soilders & many friends. ...............
Until we meet again in Heaven Beloved Son, (It will be the Happiest Day of My Life when we are all together for eternity!)......love,mom

Nicole, sorry to hear of Kenneth's passing. We did not have the pleasure of meeting him but we've been told he was a wonderful and funny man. Our thoughts and prayers are with and the family. God bless.

Both Vince and I are beyond sorry for the passing of such a truly wonderful man, and a great friend to Vince.
Ken had an uncanny ability to make people feel welcome and included, and he had one of the best smiles I've ever seen. He quite literally made the world a better place, just by being himself.
I'm so very thankful we were able to say goodbye to Ken this week, although his happy and positive presence will always be missed.
