Martin Allerding Obituary

ALLERDING, MARTIN R.

MARTIN RAY ALLERDING of Centreville on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia; daughters, Amy of Centreville and Martha (J.T.) of Stone Ridge, VA; four grandchildren, Austin, Abigail, Brendan and Shane; in-laws, Robert and Florence Propp. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at FAIRFAX MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 9902 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 24, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. There will also be a funeral service with full military honors held at Fort Myer Old Post Chapel on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 9 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038.

Dear Pat and Family,

We always looked forward to getting together with you and Martin. Martin's effervescent cheer and brilliant smile always cheered me up. The annual holiday party was a looked-forward-to event! Knowing Martin has enriched both of us!
