On Thursday, July 16, 2015, Frank William Bennett, 88 of Mt. Airy, MD.Beloved husband of over 64 years to LaNita Lemm Bennett with whom he has nine children and 12 grandchildren. Devoted Father of Karen Silverstein and husband Robert, Janet Ford and husband John, Frank J. Bennett and wife Mary, David L. Bennett and wife Renee`, Robert M. Bennett, Kenneth J. Bennett, Richard K. Bennett and Sheri Barun, Timothy L. Bennett and wife Kimberly, Gretchen Harris and husband Matthew and 12 grandchildren.Friends will be received at St Michael's Catholic Church Poplar Springs, 1125 St. Michaels Rd., Mt. Airy, MD 21771 on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 23rd 11 a.m. at the Church with viewing one hour prior. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, 516 Trail Ave. P.O. LaNita and family, Frank has always been one of my most dearest friends. He was my first boss at REA when I arrived in 1956 and my last boss when I left REA. He was one of the most compassionate and smartest people I have ever met. He will be greatly missed by everyone who ever met him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love, Joan
