ERIC SPECTOR Obituary


ERIC SANEL SPECTOR (Age 78)  
Passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at his home in McLean, VA. He was born September 6, 1937 in Boston, MA to Nathan Spector and Frances Irene Sanel, the family moved to Cincinnati, OH in 1939 and he attended Walnut Hills High School, graduating in 1955. He did his undergraduate work at Perdue University, and was a member of Phi Epsilon. He returned to Boston to attend Harvard and graduated in 1962. He joined the U.S. Army Reserves and after training returned to Cincinnati to work as a Patent Attorney for Proctor & Gamble. On September 4, 1965 he married Karen Lee Karnan in Plandome, Long Island, his wife of over 50 years and the mother of their two sons, David Spector (Angela) and the late Paul Spector who died in 2009. Also survived by three grandchildren, Matthew, Sara and Jessica. In 1969 they moved to McLean, VA where Eric worked in the field of Patent Law. In December 2012 he retired from the firm of Bacon & Thomas. A Memorial Service will be held at the MONEY AND KING FUNERAL HOME, 171 West Maple Ave., Vienna, VA on Saturday, January 30 at 11 a.m. The online guestbook is available atwww.moneyandking.com
