JAMES GALLANT Obituary
JAMES HARRY GALLANT (Age 77)
Of Bethany Beach, DE passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at his home. Jim retired as the Operations Manager for WMAL Radio station in Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Eileen Gallant in 2010. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Stoffelen; a son, Joseph Gallant; three grandchildren, Danielle, James and Abigail; three stepchildren, Lauren Griffin-Walls (Matt), Erin Mullen (Daniel) and Meighan Burton (Dave); six step grandchildren, Kody, Carter, Emma, Avery, Quinn and Chace. He is also survived by a sister, Patricia Butler (Richard) and a brother, Albert Gallant, Jr. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View, DE 19970, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE 19930. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Jim''s name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network by visiting www.pancan.org.
