MARILYN CICIO Obituary
MARILYN D. CICIO (Age 65)
Of Vienna, VA passed away January 31, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Paul Cicio of 40 years and loving mother of Lisa Diecks, Lori Walczyk, Adrienne Cicio, Kimberly Cicio; grandmother of Austin, Claire, Emily, Andrew and Alex; sister of Wayne Pearson. Marilyn worked as a hemodialysis nurse, family practice, and parish nursing. She devoted herself to family and her Christian faith and was active in church activities, bible study, quilting, book groups and philanthropy. Family and friends may gather on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave, Vienna, VA 22180. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Park St. NE, Vienna, VA 22180. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to American Brain Tumor Association or the National Brain Tumor Society. I was saddened to learn of Marilyn's death. Please know that I'm praying for God to comfort Paul, her daughters and grandchildren. I didn't know Marilyn very well, but she was instrumental in my pursuit of a second career in nursing. She shared with me the satisfaction she received from her work. I am so grateful that she took the time to encourage me to become a nurse. I'm certain that she will be missed by many. I thank God for the hope we shared in Jesus Christ.

Marilyn was one of my best friends in high school. Paul was her first priority, though. She was a good person, and a good friend.

Kim and Cicio family-I didn't know Marylin, but I felt like I got to know her through hearing about her from Kim on our long runs in North Carolina. I wish for your family much peace in this difficult journey and hope you are surrounded by people you love. My thoughts are with you all.
