MYRON P. CURZAN "Mike"  
Mike Curzan died on March 18, 2016. He was 75. He was predeceased by his wife of more than fifty years, Mary Curzan (nee Hannah) and is survived by three daughters, Elisabeth, Anne and Katherine; and five grandchildren, Nikolai, Hannah, Alexandra, William and Stefan. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 3 at 10 a.m. at the Kenwood Golf & Country Club, 5601 River Road, Bethesda, MD.  Born in New York City, Mike graduated from Columbia College in NYC, was a Woodrow Wilson fellow in the graduate program of Yale University, where he received an MA in History, and received a JD from the Columbia University School of Law in 1965. Upon graduation, Mike clerked for Chief Judge Roger Traynor of the California Supreme Court, then worked as a legislative aid for Senator Robert Kennedy. He joined the law firm of Arnold & Porter in 1967 and became a partner in 1972. While at Arnold & Porter, Mike founded MPC & Associates in 1984 in order to pursue his passion for real estate development consulting and finance for exempt organizations and corporations, and he served as the first President of APCO Associates. In 1991, Mike became Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company. Mike also served at various times as the President, Vice Chairman, and CEO of the National Captioning Institute, as a Trustee of George Washington University, and as a Board member of the Rocky Mountain Institute. Most recently, Mike founded and served as CEO of UniDev LLC. Mike was a devoted family man, a loyal friend, a committed mentor, and an avid sports enthusiast.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support the scholarship in Mike''s name at George Washington University.
