EDWARD JOSEY
On Friday, April 22, 2016 EDWARD JOSEY passed away peacefully. Beloved husband of Merciedee Headen Josey; father of Yolanda (Stephen), Belinda, Eduardo and Mingo. He is also survived by one brother, John Josey and sister, Vivian Allen; three sisters-in-law, Claudia, Corina and Bettye; as well as grandson, Lawrence (Aisha) and granddaughter, Stephanie (Sherman); great-grandchildren, Lawrence III, Layla, Jahlani and Sanai and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. On Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. friends may visit with the family at Union Wesley AME Zion Church, 1860 Michigan Ave., NE, Washington, DC 20018. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.www.marshallmarchfh.com

With congratulations for a life well spent for the Lord and humanity I acknowledge the home-going of your Beloved Father. To be absent in the body is to be present with The Lord; also, the day of dying for children of God is more glorious than the day of birth. Glory to His Name.
