ARCHIE BORGUS Obituary
ARCHIE HENRY BORGUS JR. ( Age 82)
Formerly of McLean, VA. On Sunday August 7, 2016, he peacefully passed away at his residence in Falls Church, VA. Husband of Delores Ann Borgus; beloved father of Archie H. Borgus III, Carol Ann Wigenton, Rhonda Denise Borgus, Denise Antoinette Brackett. He is also survived by one brother-in-law, James Epperson; six grandsons, Jeremy and Joshua Wigenton, Christopher and Jacob Graham, Curtis Dowtin and Jace Carter; one granddaughter, Kylie Dowtin and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Sr. and Vera (Scott) Borgus; two sisters, Aliene Vera Borgus and Roxanne Barnes. Viewing will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 8310 Turningleaf Lane, McLean, VA 22102. To Archie and the Borgus Family, My sincere condolences in the loss of Mr. Borgus. A gentle giant. He will be greatly missed. I so enjoyed our talks on our visits. I'll always remember that smile. He was truly a joy to be around. May God wrap his arms around you all during this time of bereavement. God bless you all.

My dearest condolences and sympathy go out to Archie and the entire Borgus family. Mr. Borgus always had a smile on his face and wise words of advice for all the youth of Shiloh Baptist including myself growing up. Stay strong and continue to love each other and keep it moving. Mr. Borgus wouldn't want it any other way.
