Roger was a true American hero! It was an honor and a privilege to have met him. He spoke to my WWII US Rangers Living Historian group when he visited Fort Indiantown Gap in January of 2015. He shared his experiences from the war and his passion for life. We have shared and will continue to share his stories with the public so future generations will understand the sacrifices that Roger and his generation made to keep us all free and safe. God bless.

We had the privilege of going on a trip with Roger 5 years ago to the Magnificent Cities of Europe tour - he was a HUGE part of that trip sharing his WWII stories and the history of his Army service!! What a truly remarkable person he is/was!! My daughter Brianna Wall just fell in love with him and his stories - she is a HUGE WWII history buff and just would sit and listen to his fascinating accounts of his travels through Europe during the war - he brought the history to life and the present! He will be TRULY missed by our family!!

I met Mr Neighborgall when I was working to save Madison Park in Falls Church a few years ago. He was immediately recognizable as a real original, an astute and righteous man. I enjoy his memory.
