BARBARA W. MURPHY (Age 78)
Of Frankford, Delaware passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover, DE.Barbara was born in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late Charles E. Wise, Jr. and Alice W. Wise.Barbara was a homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Oak Orchard Riverdale Post 28, VFW Mason Dixon Post 7234 in Ocean View, and the Cheer Center. She enjoyed, model trains, bowling, making jewelry and especially country line dancing. Barbara was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Bethany Beach.Mrs. Murphy is survived by her children, Theresa Cunningham (Robert) of Severn, MD, Cecilia Sulhoff (John, III) of Huntington, MD, Patrick Murphy and Crystal O'Neal of Laurel, MD and Michael Murphy (Leilani) of Raleigh, NC. Grandmother to Theresa's children, Stephen and Sean, Cecilia's children John IV, Nick, Natalie, James, and Amber, Michael's children, Matthew, Andrew, and David.Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Donley Murphy in 2010.A visitation will also be held at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE 19930 on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 a.m.Contributions can be made in Barbara's memory to Delaware Hospice 100 Patriots Way Milford, DE 19963 or ALS Foundation 321 Norristown Rd.
