THOMAS EDWARD TRIBBLE, SR. (Age 96)
Thomas "TNT" Tribble of Washington, DC passed away at the age of 95 in his home on March 27, 2017. Born in Canon, GA in 1991, he was a sibling to five brothers and one sister. He enlisted and served in the US Army during World War ll until 1945. Thomas had a passion for music and was a well-known and talented drummer whose professional name was "TNT" Tribble. He fell in love with and married Loretta Motta Tribble who preceded him in death in 2009. He is survived by five loving children: Priscilla, Gloria, Thomas Jr., Brian (Trellis), and Tyrone; and four grandchildren, Latoya (Gary), Kenyetta (Kenny), Breeana and Sheyda. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and a host of friends. On Friday, April 7, 2017 Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Francis De Sales Church, 2021 Rhode Island Ave., NE, Washington, DC 20018. Viewing 10 to 11 a.m.; Services 11 a.m to 12 p.m. Interment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.

I was hired as TNT,s bass player in 1964.Harold blair on tenor sax,melvin lee guitar,Jeannie dee singer,clay hunt,singer,and oviously Tee on drums. It was a big experience for me to be hired at age 22 because I was learning music from my elders.I was finally drafted into the military in 1968.I really missed them.
