On Tuesday, December 7, 2004 in Baghdad, Iraq, MARK N. STUBENHOFER, beloved husband of Patricia L. Stubenhofer and devoted father of Lauren, Justin, and Hope. He is also survived by his grandmother, Margaret Challstrom; parents, Norman and Sallie; sisters, Kristen and Erin, and brothers, Ken and Ryan. Mark was a Captain in the U.S. Army and was awarded two Bronze Star Medals, the Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, two Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, two Overseas Service Ribbons, Ranger Tab, Senior Parachutist Badge, Royal Thai Army Airborne Wings, Expert Infantryman's Badge and the Combat Infantryman's Badge. Relatives and friends may call at THE MURPHY FUNERAL HOME OF ARLINGTON, 4510 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA, 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 16, 2004. Funeral services will be held at the Memorial Chapel at Fort Myer, 9:45 a.m., Friday, December 17, 2004, (please allow extra travel time for security check), followed by Full Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
