William S. Czech
William S. Czech, 86, of Wausau, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Kindred Healthcare-Kennedy Park, Weston. He was born in Hatley to Walter and Julia (Wanta) Czech on December 31, 1925.
William served his country in the U.S. Army for 16 years. He was a mechanic and his service time encompassed World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of V.F.W Burns Post #388 in Wausau.
He is survived by sisters, Matilda Mientke of Slinger, Wis., Sally Sonntag of Schofield, and Sylvia Burant of Schofield; and brother, James Czech of Vail, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Fr. Edmund Czech, Cordelia Wanta, Dorothy Hoffman, Ambrose Czech, and Irene Szymanski.
Private family services will take place. Burial will be in the church cemetery of St. Ladislaus Catholic Parish, town of Bevent.
