Charles R. Ivaska, 70, Mosinee, died Sept. 17, 2013 at his home.
He was born December 30, 1942 in Mosinee, son of the late John and Mary (Kubick) Ivaska. He married Barbara Puls on Nov. 21, 1961 in Illinois. She preceded him in death on April 20, 2008.
Charles was a head fireman
at the Mosinee Paper Mill for 40 years. He loved fly fishing for pan fish with family and brother, Jim Ivaska, spoiling his Grandchildren and watching the Grandchildren play sports. He also loved hunting and working on cars.
Survivors include a son, Raymond (Jane Leithe) Ivaska, Mosinee; two daughters, Diana (Jim Hanneman) Graveen and Christine (Rick) Strand, Presque Isle; seven Grandchildren, Ryan and Jennifer Strand, Bryce and Kyle Graveen, Amber, Preston and Shiloh Ivaska; two Great-Grandchildren, Gracie and Ellie Strand; three brothers, Jim (Joan) Ivaska, Mosinee, John (Pauline) Ivaska, Edgar, and Donald (Erma) Ivaska, Mosinee; three sisters, Pauline Shear, Loretta Gunseor, and Evelyn Nechuta, all of Mosinee.
Services will be at 10a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4p.m. to 8p.m., Thursday, and again at 9a.m until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
