David Hanneman, 74, of Weston, passed away peacefully at Aspirus Hospital on Monday, December 17, 2012.
He was born October 10, 1938 to Albert and Hazel (Roguski) Hanneman. David is survived by his wife Ellen (Soukup), two sons David II (Kathy) of Stoughton and Paul of Stevens Point, two grandsons Joshua and Alexander, a brother Donald (Charlie), and a sister Karen (Harvey) Lambrecht. He was preceded in death by his parents.
David and Ellen were joined in marriage August 22, 1959. He taught physics and photography for ten years at Fort Atkinson High School. After teaching, he became the Central Wisconsin Uniserv Director for 29 years providing strong representation for area teachers and support staff. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting, waterfowl hunting, and camping.
Memorial services will be Saturday, December 29 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Pastor Raymond Connor officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the
