Judith Elizabeth McKenzie-Foster

McKenzie-Foster, Judith Elizabeth

Judith Elizabeth McKenzie-Foster passed away on Saturday, April 6th 2013 surrounded by loved ones. Judi's will to live and unfaltering faith in God carried her through the last several years as she battled health concerns. Judi remained a bastion of strength for those around her. She was the light in the darkness, and that light will continue eternally.

Judi was born on Sep. 26th, 1949 to Phillip and Cecelia Green. She was the youngest of 5 siblings: Barbara, Richard, Donn and Janet. Judi moved to Wausau with her family when she was very young, and met her first husband Allen Henricks and his three young children, John, Charles and Sheryl, who she loved as her own through her life. She and Allen had two children of their own, Allyson and Elizabeth.

One of Judi's fondest loves has always been music, so it is no surprise that Judi met Jon Foster, her soul mate and the love of her life, through music. Their chemistry and passion for music, life and family continued through their 27 years together. There was nothing that the two did not share; they worked, played, lived and truly loved together.

Judi is survived by her husband, Jon Foster and the five children she raised: John Henricks and children, Paul and Matthew; Charles and Tammy Henricks and children, Matthew and Dillon; by Sheryl and Jerry Strasser and children Marlena and Connor; by Allyson and Pete McKensey and children Danielle, Nicholas and Cayllah and great-granddaughter, Cecilia; and by Elizabeth Henricks.

Judi is predeceased by her parents, Phillip and Cecelia Green, and her sister Barbara.

Memorial Service to commence on Friday, April 12th at 10:45am, at First United Methodist Church, 903 3rd Street, Wausau WI.
