Kara (Brinkman) Taylor

Kara (Brinkman) Taylor, 47, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, went to her eternal home Friday, Dec. 28, 2012. Kara was born April 9, 1965, in Hatley, but moved to Texas 27 years ago after meeting and marrying the man of her dreams, Joey Taylor. Together they raised three beautiful children. Kara was the consummate mother, involved in every area of their lives, and they were her pride and joy. Kara was a humanitarian who will be missed not only by her family and friends, but by her community and church. Her smile, attitude and love for others were an example of what living life is all about as she lived life to the fullest. Survivors: Husband, Joey Taylor; children, Dustin Taylor and wife, Lauren, Ashtin Taylor and Jordin Taylor; parents, Kenneth and Karen Brinkman; sisters, Kim Smith and husband, Raymond, and Karla Verkuilen and husband, Rick; father-in-law, Fred Taylor; sisters-in-law, Crystal Plemons and husband, Bruce, and Leslie Thompson and husband, Tyler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in Texas. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 6PM on Friday, January 11, 2013 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. Fr. Roy Witucki will officiate.
