Charles Kohnhorst, 82, of Weston, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013.
He was born July 14, 1930 to Theodore and Dorothy (Neiger) Kohnhorst. Charles loved his work as a painter and decorator. He was an accomplished pilot; winning the Archie Towle Memorial Award. He also enjoyed camping and being with his family. The center of Charles' life was his strong faith in his Bible, which he professes as a Jehovah's Witness.
Charles is survived by his wife Doris, two sons Daniel of Wausau and Tim (Kelly) of Merrill, his daughter Roxanne (Richard) Buehler of Wausau, two grandchildren, his brother Wilbur (Mary Ann), and his sister Lolly (Dave) Sopiwnik.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Barry.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Rib Mountain. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the time of service. Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family.
