Richard Tilllman Hall, loving father, brother, uncle and friend, and teacher passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 9, 2012. He was born in Wausau on November 22, 1964, son of the late Betty Hall and the late Tillman Hall. He attended Wausau East High School and was a graduate of UW Madison.

Rick's biggest joy was his daughter Erin. They enjoyed doing many activities together like long summer trips, fishing, skiing and creating art. He led an extremely active life participating in races, church and loved all of his many friends. One of the highlights of every week was his FrYday Night Fish Fry group. Rick was also an accomplished artist, hole-in-one golfer, avid YMCA member and an Elk. He was also the creator of the Amazing Turkey Trot race that aids local charities. Rick was a teacher at Tomahawk High School and enjoyed all of the students and staff that he worked with.

Rick is survived by his daughter, Erin Hall (Paula Hall), two brothers, John Erickson and Craig Hall, nieces and nephews Austin Hettinga, Gage Hettinga, Aisling Hall, Ciara Hall and Cormac Hall. Close friends Valerie Charneski and Ann Brodziski.

Rick was loved by many and his shining personality and caring spirit will be truly missed.

Visitation for Rick will be at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Wausau, Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family. Online condolences can be expressed at
