Graham, Rosalind Lee (Hommerding)

Rosalind Lee (Hommerding) Graham, 74, of Hayward, Wis., died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Onalaska Care Center in Onalaska, Wis.

She was born March 8, 1939, in Antigo, Wis., to Theodore and Lucille (McGrath) Hommerding. Rosalind graduated from Antigo High School, received a diploma in nursing from St. Mary's School of Nursing in Wausau, Wis., and a Bachelor of Science and Professional Arts in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph College in Standish, Maine. In her early working career she worked at both St. Mary's and Memorial Hospital in Wausau and the Wausau Medical Center. Later, Rosalind was a home health aide, then staff nurse, then nursing supervisor and home care coordinator for VNA Home Health, Inc. in Wausau. In 1990, she moved to Hayward, WIis., and became an Assistant Director of the Sawyer County Public Health/Home Health Nursing Agency and worked in the Home Health Nursing Agency until her retirement in 2007.

She is survived by two daughters, Randi (Bryant) Klos of Onalaska, Wis.; and ReNae (Jobe) Nachman of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Matthew Klos, Emilie Klos, Alexandra Nachman, and Michael Nachman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Graham in 2007; her parents; and her sister, Teddy Kretz.

In accordance with Rosalind's wishes, no services are being planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Northwoods Humane Society, 10812 N. O'Brien Hill Road, Hayward, WI 54843.
