Scott A. Jordan, age 49, of Weston, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at Ministry St. Clare's Hospital in Weston.
Scott was born on April 16, 1964 to Fred and Janet (Davis) Jordan in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin
Madison where he played football for the Wisconsin Badgers. He married Candice Dittman on November 22, 1997. Scott played Rugby for the Wisconsin Rugby Club for 20 years. The team won the National Title in 1998 and he was given the MVP.
Scott was a faithful member of Christ Community Church where he served as youth leader and on the World Missions Team. His Christian faith gave him a heart for Africa, where he helped guide the Foundation for Hope in Africa as a member of their Board of Directors. His life-goal was to be a faithful husband, loving father and servant to all.
Survivors include his wife Candy Jordan of Weston; children Beau, Ella, and Tess Jordan all at home; father Fred Jordan; brother Kelly (Tracy) Jordan of Ft. Atkinson and sister Dana (Scott) Scherer of Ft. Atkinson.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother Janet and Grandma Hazel.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Christ Community Church, 8100 Alderson St., Schofield. The Rev. Dr. Robin Wilde will officiate. Visitation will take place from 5:00 pm until the time of the service at the church on Thursday.
