Dianne Look Obituary

Look, Dianne

Dianne "Dee-Dee" Look, 67, will be dearly missed by family, friends, and community members. She saw hundreds of people every day as manager at the Rothschild branch of Marathon Savings Bank. She had a smile and kind words for everyone. There wasn't a single person she met that didn't love her.

She will be missed most by her family: her husband, Bob; her daughter, Christy Bleu (Schlosser), and her children, Jordan Bleu and Jacob and Savanna Schlosser; her son, Chuck Mientke; Her parents Norman (deceased) and Patricia Renaud; her brothers, George and Tony and their families; Her sister, Denise "Pete" Preston and her family; her previous husband, Calvin Mientke and his family, and of course, her fuzzy kids, Augustus and Louie.

Dianne was an avid gardener, an animal lover, and an artist. Her jewelry brought joy to many and raised money for the American Cancer Society.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at Brainard Funeral Home - Everest Chapel. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

On the morning of her death her daughter received the last text Dianne sent. "One door in your life is closed. You have an unlimited number of new doors to go through now and God is standing behind every one of them. Start opening doors and see what he has in store for you!"

Dianne was an amazing woman. She always had a smile on her face everytime I went to visit my mom (Karen) at the bank. Dianne was so loving and caring, even to my two daughters. She made beautiful jewelry for them for Christmas and even hand painted a toy box with their names on it. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and her husband, Bob, who was there with me, held my hand during the worst day of our lives.

Dianne opened our account years ago, about 6 months ago she helped me when my computer was hacked, she really cared, she was so nice. We always told her when the Antique Show was coming because she loved going to it. Going to the Bank will not seem right for a long time. Our condolences to her family and friends

I worked with Dee for many years at Intercity State Bank and we quickly became good friends. In fact, I was honored when she asked me to read Scripture at her and Bob's wedding ceremony. She was such a wonderful person, and this is a very tragic loss. My deepest sympathy to you, Bob, and the rest of Dee's family.

My husband and I have been customers at the Rothschild branch of Marathon Savings for more than 10 years. Every time we visited, Dianne always had a smile. Even when she wasn't the one at the window, she made time to come over to say hi. She had a soft spot for our 3 children and loved to dote on them the way a grandmother does. She set up all of their accounts and would patiently count and deposit their loose change from their piggy banks.

We are heartbroken over the loss of Dianne. Something as ordinary as banking will no longer be the same. Dianne will forever be missed. Our deepest sympathy and prayers to her family.

Dianne was a wonderful caring person. I worked w/ her for years at the bank. My kids used to love to come in and see Dianne, she would hold them and love on them as if they were her own. Dianne had a way of making her customers part of her family. she will be missed.

Dianne was such a caring & loving lady. I worked w/ Dianne for years at the bank. she cared about everyone. when my kids would come in she would put them on her lap and visit w/ them. they loved seeing her. I have a handicap daughter now so I often use the drive thru (easier) but Dianne would say roll down that window so I can say hi to Lily. Dianne knew so much more about her customers than the average service worker did. she just somehow made herself one of the family to many. she will be missed

Even though I hadn't seen her in years, my heart just hurts for everyone that knew and loved Dianne. She was such a beautiful person, loved her dogs so much and always talked about her husband. I remember her always asking how my dogs were. I'm so sorry this had to happen to you. I hope the dogs that passed before you were so happy to see you at The Rainbow Bridge before you got your angel's wings. Thoughts and prayers to her family.

I remember DeeDee from the sixties when her family lived across the street from my aunt and uncle, Marcella & Nick Stankowski. I attended her and Calvin's wedding all those years ago, it was one of the first weddings I was allowed to go to. The Renauds always included everyone in the fun and I had many good times with your family.

I am so very sorry for your loss.

All you need is love,

Carla Baltus
