Wiskow, Bette M.

Bette M. Wiskow, 84, De Pere, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at a local nursing home with family at her side. She was born August 30, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Jacoby) Ralph. Bette graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee and attended Marquette University. She married Richard Wiskow on June 27, 1963 in Milwaukee. She worked as a legal secretary for Habush Habush and Rottier Law Firm for many years.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere, where she was a care minister and sang in the funeral choir. She enjoyed sewing and volunteering.

Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Richard, De Pere; four children: Steve (Julie) Wiskow, Phoenix, AZ, Vickie Wiskow, Des Moines, IA, Anne (Michael) McMahon, Greenleaf, and Jeanne (Alex) Duran, Orlando, FL; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas (Mary) Ralph, Costa Mesa, CA.

Family and friends may call Monday, February 4, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St., Green Bay. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday at church, with the Rev. Kenneth Smits Capuchin and Rev. John H. Harper concelebrating. Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, De Pere, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic.
