Edmund C. Ryskiewicz, 88, Mosinee, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Hospice House, Wausau.
He was born Nov. 1, 1924 to the late Benjamin and Mary (Pryga) Ryskiewicz. Edmund Married Agnes Dallman on Oct. 25, 1952 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. She survives.
Edmund worked for Weyerhauser in Rothschild for 32 years and farmed in Peplin for many years. He also built many barns in the area retiring in 1986. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Survivors, besides his wife, Agnes, include five children, Stephen (Cathy) Ryskiewicz, Minocqua, Susan (Rodney) Greisinger, Minocqua, Anthony (Terri) Ryskiewicz, Mosinee, Katherine (William) Champine, Mosinee, and Janet (Stuart) Seegar, Parkville, Missouri; ten Grandchildren; five Step-Grandchildren; four Great-Grandchildren; eight Step-Great-Grandchildren; two brothers, John (Marge) Ryskiewicz, Wisconsin Rapids and Benjamin (Betty) Ryskiewicz, St. Germain; five sisers, Frances Swientek, Salt Lake City, UT, Sister Mary Genevieve, Rio Rancho New Mexico, Lottie Springer, Mosinee, Esther Zogata, Hatley, Angeline (William) Maliszewski, Mosinee. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Ryskiewicz and a brother, Eugene Ryskiewicz.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July. 2, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Peplin. The Rev. James Arthur will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the services at the church. Beste Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
