Buhse, Jeffery "Booze" Jack

Jeffery "Booze" Jack Buhse, 57, Weston, died on Sunday, February 10, 2013, at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital, Weston. He was born on February 3, 1956, in Wausau, the son of the late Jack Buhse and Dorothy (Dawson) Buhse.

Jeff and his wife Dana are the owners/operators of PJ's Log Jam. He began as co-owner in 1990 but bought the business in 1991. Jeff married Dana Winter September 29, 1979 at Rib Mountain Lutheran Church. Together they had three children Heather, Heidi and Kyle.

Jeff enjoyed the outdoors; going up North to the cottage, sitting around the campfire with his wife and grandchildren, hunting and fishing were some of his favorite activities. He also enjoyed a good game of pool; often winning a quick $20.00 off his opponents by "beating" them with a broom stick. Jeff was the first acolyte at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Jeff was the pitcher for his fast pitch softball teams for many years. Jeff was also a diehard Cubs fan and especially enjoyed watching the Packers and Badgers.

Survivors include his wife, Dana, Weston; daughters Heather (Josh) Hahn, Ringle, Heidi (Lance Uttecht) Buhse, Hatley; son Kyle, Weston; mother, Dorothy Buhse (93); grandchildren Dawson, Ava and Kolbie; nephews Doug (Kim) Winter and Don Winter; and several cousins.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Jack Buhse.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11:00 am at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 6205 Alderson St, Weston. The Rev. Raymond Connor will officiate. Burial will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm until 7:30 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Brainard Funeral Home, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston and again from 10:00 am until the time of service at Church on Thursday.

The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to the Weston Police and Fire Departments, and all of the doctors and nurses in the ICU at St. Clare's Hospital in Weston.
