Elliott, Laura J.
Laura Elliott, 59, of Wausau, died peacefully at her home Oct. 6, 2012.
Laura was born Jan. 15, 1953 to the late Charles and Dorothy (Vetter) Elliott. She graduated from UW-Stout with a bachelor's in vocational rehabilitation and a master's degree in guidance and counseling. She owned her own business Laurie's Help Line, for several years.
She always put the needs of others before herself. Laura was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Cassie (Jeff) Sawvell; two grandchildren, Jayce and Ethan; dear friend, Dave; brothers, Charles (Pat) and Richard (Rhonda); sisters, Judith and Mary (Werner).
No services will be held at this time.
Brainard Funeral Home, Wausau, is assisting the family.
