Mary Loraine Williams, 75, of Marinette, died quietly and peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. She was born August 6, 1937 at St. Mary's Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin to Crescenthia and Harold Stark.

Mary spent her early life in Mosinee and was a graduate of Mount Mary College in Milwaukee. She married Leonard J. Williams and for the greater part of their life together resided in Marinette. Although professionally trained as a Registered Nurse, Mary devoted her time to being a stay at home Mom.

She was a member of Resurrection Parish in Menominee and observed a very spiritual life. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, outdoor activities, traveling and the time spent at the family cottage. She was an avid Musky fisher and nicknamed "Musky Mary" in fishing circles around the cottage.

As her family grew, she was very involved with Catholic Education at Catholic Central High School in the 1970's and 1980's. She organized and directed the first two annual Catholic Central Auctions and the first two Octoberfest celebrations, served on the School Board and participated in numerous other activities.

Mary is survived by her husband, Leonard; sons, Michael Williams and wife, Margaret Williams; Thomas Williams and wife, Mary Frances Williams; Joel Williams and wife, Deanna Williams, and Christopher Williams and wife, Nan Williams; grandchildren, Annie Owens (Williams) husband Greg Owens, Megan Koski (Williams) husband Brenten, Robert Williams, Andrew Williams, Danielle Williams, Katie Williams, Michaela Williams, Emily Williams, Grace Williams, Gwen Williams, Yana Williams and Dmitry Williams; great-grandchildren, Nolan and Sapphira; nieces and nephews, Dan, wife Lauri and family; Sherri Mund husband, Steve and family; Suzanne Rogers (Stark) husband, Grant and family; Scott Stark and wife, Toni; Terry Holmquist (Stark) and Casey; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jerome Stark; a grandson, Bradley Williams; and a brother-in-law, George.

Friends and relatives may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home, Marinette from 4 until 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012. A Vigil Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday evening in the funeral home led by Deacon Vince Beckley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 5th in Resurrection Catholic Church in Menominee by the Reverend Michael Chenier. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Greenville, Wis.
