Mijal, Patricia L.

Patricia L. Mijal, 80, Oneida, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013. She was born Patricia Lydia Falkowski on September 22, 1932 in Beaver to the late Joseph and Blanche (Migacz) Falkowski. On June 14, 1952 she married Anton (Tony) Mijal in Milwaukee.

Pat enjoyed her family, the cottage up north, and traveling in retirement. Her hobbies included crafting, cake decorating, gardening, listening to polka music and, most recently, spending time with her many friends and activities at the Pulaski Senior Center.

She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Duane (Mary Jane) Mijal, Green Valley, Dale (Shelley) Mijal, Suamico, Darrell (Carol) Mijal, Pulaski, Brian Mijal, Neillsville; six grandchildren, Kevin (fiancée Carrie) and Brad, Alex, Max and Dexter, and Miranda. Pat is further survived by one brother, Robert Falkowski, Hatley; a brother-in-law, Norman Ostrowski and a sister-in-law, Janet Falkowski.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Tony; two sisters, Elaine Hanke and Joan Ostrowski; and one brother, Joseph, Jr. (Joey) Falkowski.

Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. The visitation continues at SS. Edward & Isidore Church, Flintville (3667 Flintville Rd.) after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, Fr. David Hoffman presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staffs at Manor Care West, Unity Hospice, and St. Mary's Hospital for their care and concern.
