Evelyn Harvanek, 79, of Mosinee passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born November 24, 1934 in the town of Guenther to the late Donald and Anna (Cincera) Morris. On May 22, 1954, Evelyn married Jerry Harvanek in Milwaukee. For many years, Evelyn worked as the town of Guenther clerk. She loved to bake, cook and sew. Evelyn blessed many of her family and friends with her handmade goods. She will be remembered for her love of God and her family.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry of Mosinee, one daughter, Kim (Darrell) Javorek of Junction City, two grandchildren, Steve (Lura) Javorek, Jaime (Jason) Rombalski, four great grandchildren, Jenna, Jesse and Josiah Rombalski and Ada Mae Javorek, two sisters, Donna VanderWaal and Mary Jane Machak both of Mosinee and four brothers, Lovell (Virginia) Morris of Eagle River, John (Susan) Morris, Frank (Marge) Morris and Jim (Sandra) Morris all of Mosinee. Evelyn was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Ann and Junior Lane and brother-in-law, Ralph VanderWaal.
A private family gathering will be held.
