McFadden, Patrick J.

Patrick J. McFadden, age 60, of Wausau, and formerly of Tomahawk, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Mount View Care Center in Wausau. He was born September 6, 1953, in Chicago, IL, to Roland and Margaret (Kundzinger) McFadden.

Patrick grew up in Summit, IL, and was a 1972 graduate of Argo High School. He was later married to Sandra Hotho on July 13, 1974, in Summit. Patrick worked as a Composing Room Supervisor for the Southtown Economist in Summit, IL. He and his family moved to the Tomahawk area in 1984. He then worked for the Rhinelander Daily News and the Lakeland Times. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, motorcycling and pontoon boat rides.

Survivors include a daughter, Kristin (Todd) Hetzel, of Tomahawk; 2 sons, Kevin (Amy) McFadden, of Wausau; and Kory (Stephanie David) McFadden, of Merrill; his former wife and dear friend, Sandie McFadden, of Merrill; 3 brothers, Thomas (Kathleen) McFadden, of Wheaton, IL; Roland (Dawn) McFadden, Jr., of Justice, IL.; and George (Diane) McFadden, of Bridgeview, IL;

Patrick is further survived by 6 grandchildren, Aubree, Joshua, Matthew, Kendyl, Cooper, and Easton, 1 great-granddaughter, Ava, and his beloved dog, Katrina.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services for Patrick McFadden will be held Monday, April 21, 2014, at 2 p.m. from Generations Funeral Home in Tomahawk. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday from 11 a.m. until the hour of services at 2 p.m. Pastor Debra Hastings will officiate with interment at Greenwood Cemetery in the spring. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
